As part of our commitment to providing a safe and convenient shopping experience, Yeppoon Central will be undertaking our travelator and lift safety inspections. These routine maintenance checks help ensure our equipment continues to operate safely and reliably for everyone visiting the centre.

Scheduled Works Period: Tuesday 1 September
Work Hours: From 5am to approx. 9am*
Location: Travelators and lift near the Food Court

What to Expect

We are working to minimise disruption and appreciate your cooperation during this time.

Travelator Inspections

• Both travelators will be shut off while inspections are underway. While one travelator is being inspected, the alternate travelator will remain open for pedestrian access in both directions.
• Please do not use the travelators with trolleys, prams, wheelchairs, walkers, or any other wheeled devices while they are switched off.
• The lift near the Food Court will remain available for customer use while the travelator inspections are being completed.

Lift Inspection

• Once both travelators have been returned to service, the lift will undergo its inspection and will be temporarily unavailable.
• During the lift inspection, customers can continue to access both levels via the travelators or the external stairs.

Please follow all onsite signage and directions from centre staff during this time.

Important Information

*While the inspections are expected to be completed by approx. 9am, should any safety concerns or faults be identified, the affected travelator or lift may remain temporarily out of service to allow essential repair works to be completed.
